GeoConquest

Turn your walks into strategy

Your city is the playing field

GeoConquest is a multiplayer GPS strategy game about capturing territory on a real map. Move in the real world, leave a trail and close routes to expand your land.

Play in your phone’s browser or the Android app. Players and clans compete for territory in a shared world.

How to capture territory

  1. Start with a small patch of land. The game grants your starting territory after the first valid GPS position.
  2. Step outside it. Real-world movement leaves a temporary trail on the map. The playing field is divided into small hexagonal cells, or hexes.
  3. Return to your land. Returning closes your route. The game identifies the hexes inside the loop and resolves the capture.

Neutral land can become yours. If the loop encloses rival territory, a contest determines the outcome: capturing it is not guaranteed. Rivals can cut an active trail, so plan your routes.

Play solo or join a clan

Build your own territory or join a clan. When you join, your personal land transfers to shared clan ownership, and new captures expand that shared territory. Members of the same clan do not cut each other’s trails.

Clan chat helps you coordinate. Weekly events give clans different objectives, and medals for top placements appear in the Hall of Fame.

Every walk helps you progress

Movement and successful captures earn XP. Leveling up grants stat points, while daily tasks offer extra goals. Captured land persists between sessions, but other players can contest it.

Customize the look with several visual themes, territory colors and patterns. The game supports both Russian and English.

Before your first walk

Do I need to move in real life?

Yes. Normal movement uses your phone’s GPS. Tapping the map does not move your character.

Do I need to install an app?

You can start in a mobile browser. An Android app is available on Google Play. In the app, you can separately enable background play to record your route while the screen is locked or the app is minimized.

Does this page need my location?

No. You can read about the game and explore the public map without location permission. Playing with real-world movement requires precise location.

How do I keep access to my player?

After starting, save your recovery code or set up an available sign-in method in account settings.

Choose safe routes and respect access restrictions: owning land in the game does not give you permission to enter restricted places.
